Every month, staff members at the UF Health Florida Recovery Center are recognized for outstanding teamwork, patient care and overall positive attitude. On January 19, Roxane Harcourt, FRC executive director, presented Susan Thomas and Allison Martineau-Rooney, substance abuse technicians, with Shining Star Awards. Both staff members received glowing letters from former patients about the excellent customer service they provide.
“After reading letters like these, we know that our patients can tell we are all here to help each other,” said Harcourt. “We work together every day to provide the best experience for our patients and their families. Allison and Susie are excellent examples of this behavior.”
